Marc Dupont is a strategist, educator and builder of frameworks that drive real-world change. With a 30-year track record spanning government, NGOs, and the private sector, he is known for blending clarity, discipline, and compassion to solve complex problems and turn big ideas into measurable results.
 

A certified PMP project manager and published author, before founding Lac Meech Strategies, Marc led one of Canada’s most respected consulting firms for over a decade, managing more than 500 projects across health promotion, public policy, stakeholder engagement, and strategic planning. He is the architect of the Health Promotion Alignment Framework, a comprehensive, cross-sectoral model that bridges policy, research, and practice to help governments align efforts and drive measurable, population-level health outcomes over the life course.

Marc is known for his ability to simplify complexity, build clear conceptual models, but also translate them into operational plans that are practical, immediately actionable, and designed to deliver outcomes. He’s a clear thinker and a straight talker who doesn’t overpromise or overcomplicate. His approach is disciplined, honest, and pragmatically impact-focused.

In the federal public service, Marc has held senior executive roles, leading enterprise-wide initiatives in service delivery modernization, human resources development, digital transformation, and Agile leadership. He was recruited to teach leadership and digital modernization to executives at the Canada School of Public Service.

A fully bilingual communicator and facilitator, Marc has moderated national consultations, advised Canadian federal government Parliamentary Committees, and helped align cross-functional teams across the country and abroad. He is also recognized for his leadership in mental health promotion, performance management, and workplace wellness.

Whether advising senior leaders, managing transformations, or teaching others to lead with agility and integrity, Marc turns strategic insight into concrete outcomes, grounded in authenticity and a service-driven approach to leadership.
